A DC Engagement at the Jefferson Memorial and Library of Congress

There is nothing quite like starting a session at the Jefferson Memorial in the quiet of the morning. The water was calm, the light was soft, and the grand white columns surrounded us in a peaceful glow. My couple moved through the space with ease, laughing and holding hands as the city slowly woke up around us.

After capturing the magic along the Tidal Basin, we made our way to the Library of Congress. The moment we stepped inside, it felt like walking into another world. Every corner held incredible detail and beauty, from the marble staircases to the colorful ceilings. It was the perfect contrast to the open air of the memorial, giving us a rich and elegant backdrop for the rest of their photos.

By the end of the morning, we had the best of both worlds. The timeless romance of the Jefferson Memorial and the refined beauty of the Library of Congress came together to tell their story in a way that was uniquely them.
